Im Rahmen der Ausstellung „Signale der Macht. Nauen, Kamina, Windhoek“ im Brandenburg Museum, die sich mit den subtilen und offensichtlichen Formen von Kontrolle und Macht durch Telekommunkation befasst, gehen wir diesmal einen Schritt weiter: an den Esstisch. Denn auch dort wird Geschichte geschrieben – und Macht ausgeübt.

Gemeinsam mit Black and White Unite for Human Rights e.V. laden wir ein zu einem Community-Event, das Essen als kulturelles Erbe, als koloniales Instrument und als politische Angelegenheit begreift.

As part of the exhibition “Signals of Power. Nauen, Kamina, Windhoek” at the Brandenburg Museum – which explores the subtle and overt forms of control and power through telecommunications – we’re taking it one step further: to the dinner table. Because history is also made there – and power is exercised there too.

Together with Black and White Unite for Human Rights e.V., we invite you to a community event that sees food as cultural heritage, as a colonial instrument, and as a political matter.
